
The Premium Institute of Bartending graduates complete a 34 hour hands-on bartending course with the primary focus on speed and efficiency.
This course includes the following skills:
Introduction to Bar Operations
Free pouring, mixing, and proper serving techniques
Garnishes and cocktail presentation
Wine and after dinner drinks
Specialized cocktails
Introduction to beers, ales, and lagers
Speed and efficiency
EMPLOYERS REQUEST INFORMATION
- The students must complete a 2 hour externship prior to graduation. This externship provides the students an opportunity to work behind a "real" bar assisting with the daily operations of the establishment.
- The bartending program includes a Success Strategies course that teaches the students the fundamentals of professional development. This includes professional attire, interviewing skills, customer service and up selling techniques, and the ability to multi-task.
- Upon completion of the course, the students graduate with a Certificate of Completion from a quality, hands-on bartending program, TABC Certification, a quality resume in hand, personal bartending business cards, and the skills needed to enter into an entry level career in bartending.
